FACELOOK ...

If your alone and surfing facebook - I guess that’s fine. Electronic phone apps help fill the time and sort of ‘connects you’ with others when you’re by yourself - but does it really? Could it be doing just the opposite? You know what I mean. Don’t you.

So ~ if there is someone with you ...or near you then get off facebook and try FaceLook!

Get the other person to sit across from you. Then look straight into each other’s eyes ...for just 3 minutes!

Blink, squint a bit but don’t look away. Don’t talk ... just yet - simply stare into each other’s eyes for just 3 minutes.

It’s an amazing fact that we just don’t look at each other enough - we don’t seem to really connect face to face these days. With the convenience of more and more communication apps we actually ‘connect’ less and less!

The result? ...no ‘pop culture’ no ‘bohemian lifestyles’ less new ideas, social trends, clubs, outings and almost no ‘face to face’- we’ve just become slaves to our PDA instead of it being an assistance to us!

Social media is not helping, it fact it seems to be doing quite the opposite. It is enabling people to further alienate themselves instead of connecting because it is conveniently satisfying the essential need we have as humans to communicate - but let’s face it - we are really not connecting -

Social media is NOT social at all! ...but rather a most ‘anti social’ and highly addictive substitute for the human connections we all need - to actually ‘be human’.

But maybe YOU are going to change that today!

How? ...if you’re reading this - and if you take the 3 minutes to discover or rediscover your human connection with another person - then perhaps you can be part of a new era of discovery for all of us!

FaceLook not FB, is what we need to connect us again. And after connecting - eye ball to eyeball I bet you have lots to say - perhaps even make a ‘social plan’ to really connect in a human way with others!

By doing a FaceLook, you’ve taken a bold first small step - but truly a giant leap - towards reuniting the global family here on our dear planet earth!
